Water Ingredients is a deliberately small, independent specialty-chemistry house. For four decades we’ve helped municipal water boards, industrial plants and drilling-fluid brands solve specific problems — a tricky raw-water feed, a new phosphorus target, a mud system that needs low fluid-loss at high temperature.

We hold stock in the Netherlands, source from established European producers, and accept volumes that don’t fit the giants’ minimums. We answer the phone ourselves, and when a standard grade won’t do we sit with your R&D team to design one that will — jar tests, pilot batches, custom basicity, bespoke viscosity, whatever the application calls for.

Day-to-day the company is run by Jan together with the next generation of the family. It’s a structure designed to outlast quarters — the same approach that has kept us trading for forty years.
